Gas ball valves GShK

Gas ball valves, producing by Exforma Ltd., are intended for using as internal and external shut-off units.

The unique ball surface microarc oxidizing technology (protected by Russian patent) is used for producing valves GShK. As a result the high-strength anti-erosive corundum cover is formed on the ball surface. Gate tightness corresponds to class «A» according to GOST 9544-93.

In 1992 at the test centre of the institute «GiproNIIgaz» gas ball valves were subjected to mean-time-between-failures test. After 16000 test cycles the further test was declared inexpedient.

Gas ball valves have full-pass section gate, which provides the minimal aerodynamic hydraulic resistance and do not prevent the pipeline cleaning.

Ball valves GShK do not require the technical maintenance or inspection during the whole service life.

Exforma Ltd. produces gas ball valves in two climatic modifications:

Serial modification: body material – steel 20 GOST 1050-88 (from -40°C to +80°C).

North modification: body material – steel 09G2S GOST 19281-89 (from -60°C to +80°C). 

Depending on pipeline medium two materials are used in valves GShK for setting firm the gate:

Polyurethane SKU PFL 100 TU 38-1051240-78 (medium: unpurified nonaggressive natural gas GOST 5542-87, oil products (gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene, oil), water.

Fluoroplastic F4  GOST 10007-80 (medium: purified nonaggressive natural gas GOST 5542-87, liquid state of liquefied hydrocarbon GOST 20448-90 and GOST 27578-87, oil products (gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene, oil), water.

Elastic wear-resistant seal eliminates the gate tightness trouble of valve GShK even in case of high medium fouling (sand, scale).

Gas ball valves are produced in five modifications according to connection:

• Ball coupler-joined valves GShK DN15-DN50;
• Ball flanged valves GShK DN15-DN50;
• Ball inter-flanged  valves GShK DN50-DN100;
• Ball pipe connection valves GShK with nipple for welding GShK DN15-DN40;
• Ball valves for welding GShK DN15-DN50;

On customer’s request Exforma Ltd. supplies gas ball valves GShK with electric drive MEOF.
